Donation from Mr. Lee (Stockbroker)

A significant milestone for common&good came through a ₩500,000 ($362 as of Aug 2026) donation from Mr. Lee, a stockbroker, who chose to support the organisation after learning more about our work and the ideas behind it. I had to explain common&good’s mission, demonstrate how previous contributions had been used, and think carefully about how new funding could be directed responsibly and transparently. The experience taught me that attracting external support requires trust, communication, and accountability. As common&good becomes less reliant on my own funding and begins working with more individual and corporate supporters, there is also a greater responsibility to show where resources go and why particular projects are chosen. I am extremely grateful to Mr. Lee, not only for the ₩500,000 contribution, but for placing his confidence in an organisation that is still growing and evolving.
