HK Trading Co., Ltd. | ₩500,000 Donation We were fortunate to receive a generous donation of ₩500,000 from Aera Lee of HK Trading Co., Ltd., contributing to common&good's ongoing fundraising efforts and supporting our work to reduce inequalities in access to resources and opportunities. What made this contribution particularly meaningful to me was the reminder that common&good's work could reach people beyond those directly involved in our activities. Much of our fundraising had begun within familiar circles, through friends, family, and fellow members who already understood what we were trying to achieve. Receiving support from individuals in the wider business community encouraged me to think about how shared values could bring together people whose everyday lives and experiences might otherwise rarely intersect. I also found myself reflecting on the trust involved in making a donation. When someone contributes to a cause, they are placing a small part of their own resources into another person's hands, trusting that it will be used thoughtfully. Although ₩500,000 can be expressed as a single figure, I was conscious that behind it lay someone's work, time, and decision to share what they had earned. I did not want to take that decision lightly. I am sincerely grateful to Aera Lee and HK Trading Co., Ltd. for their generosity and confidence in common&good. Each contribution reminds me that the responsibility of giving does not end with the person who makes the donation. It continues with those entrusted to turn that generosity into something meaningful.
