World Vision Global 6k for Water

Six kilometres had always seemed like an ordinary run until I learnt that it is the average distance millions of people walk every day to collect clean water. For me, every run has been a choice. I can skip a training session, slow down, or stop whenever I want. For many others, those same six kilometres are not optional. That race reminded me that the greatest privilege of running is not crossing the finish line. It is having the freedom to stand on the starting line in the first place. I ran the World Vision Global 6K, donating ₩30,000 ($21.7 as of Aug 2026) to support World Vision's work in providing clean water. Every kilometre is a reminder to appreciate the extraordinary gift hidden within something so ordinary: the freedom to choose to run.
