Jeju International Tourism Festival Marathon

May 25 2025ㅣJeju International Tourism Festival Marathonㅣ₩50,000 We live in a world where time is often measured by what it produces: a finished task, a higher grade, or another achievement. Running has always felt different. Spending an hour along the Jeju coastline may achieve very little on paper, but I have never considered that time wasted. The Jeju International Tourism Festival Marathon reminded me that not everything worthwhile has to be productive. Some things have value simply because we enjoy doing them, whether that is watching a sunset, spending time with friends, or running with no purpose beyond reaching the finish line. As part of my pledge to connect every official race I run with giving, I donated ₩50,000 ($37.2 as of Aug 2026) to common&good after completing the race. In that way, something I did simply because I loved doing it could still leave behind something beyond the run itself.
