KNN Environmental Marathon

17 March 2024ㅣKNN Env. Marathonㅣ₩50,000 At the KNN Environmental Marathon in Busan, I found myself paying almost as much attention to the people around me as to the race itself. Thousands of runners occupied the same course, yet everyone seemed to be running a different race: serious athletes repeatedly checking their watches, parents keeping pace with their children, groups of friends talking through entire kilometres, runners in elaborate costumes, and others simply enjoying the experience of moving through the city. People-watching made the race far more interesting than simply chasing a finishing time. The same distance could mean competition, exercise, celebration, companionship, or something entirely personal depending on who was running it. Through common&good, I also attached a ₩50,000 ($37.2 as of Aug 2026) personal donation to completing the race.
