Jeju Mandarin International Marathon

Nov 17 2024ㅣJeju Mandarin International Marathonㅣ₩50,000 Before every race, I can find countless reasons not to run: bad weather, tired legs, an intimidating distance, or simply the possibility of failing. Strangely, the reasons to keep going are usually far fewer. During the Jeju Mandarin International Marathon, I realised that perseverance is perhaps less about having extraordinary motivation and more about protecting those few reasons to continue. We may never eliminate every reason to stop. Sometimes, it is enough to make the reasons to begin again slightly stronger. To mark another finish line, I contributed ₩50,000 ($37.2 as of Aug 2026) to common&good, continuing my commitment to make each race worth something beyond the medal itself.
